DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the day to day running of the Russian food kitchen
2. To plan, prepare, cook and present food to the standard required by the company and the client.
3. Systematically tasted and smelled all prepare dishes, and observed color, texture and garnishes.
- Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
- Supervising and training kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
6. Ensuring that kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers for best the products at the lowest prices
- Maintaining inventory of ingredients and ordering new supplies as needed
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
