We have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant.
As a key partner to senior University leadership, this is an exceptional opportunity to provide high quality operational and executive administrative excellence. These dynamic and fast-paced roles ensure leaders’ time is maximised and organised effectively to support the delivery of the University’s purpose and strategy consistent with organisational values and Te Ao Māori Principles.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent opportunity.
The salary range is $67,000 to $79,000 and will be dependent on experience.

You will be comfortable working in a busy environment, all while not sacrificing the quality of the interactions with your customers and stakeholders. Working with people will be something you enjoy and being able to make considered decisions, in line with policies and procedures will come naturally.
Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Motuhake
- Relevant qualification in administration, software, office systems and processes at the Diploma Level or the equivalent gained through practice, experience, and training.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring high levels of customer service focus and excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication including both written and verbal and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative to solve complex problems requiring judgment and accurate interpretation of established information.
- Minimum 5 years in an EA or Office Manager role.
- Experience in working with dynamic leader/s at Director level.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring high levels of customer service.
